THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED! CONGRATULATIONS COMMENT #4 XENIA
I’m a lover of home cooked meals which means a lot of chopping of onions, celery, carrots, and peppers. Hand dicing and mincing is very time consuming. Getting out my food processor and putting it together takes to much time so I just rather do it by hand. Chef’n has a cool gadget called the VeggiChop which is very simple to use and chops my veggies in a flash. Here is a little it about Chef’n:
“We’re a growing Seattle-based company with more than 250 product patents worldwide and a single mission. We want to make better tools so you can make better food. It’s what drives our in-house design team to reinvent the utensils and gadgets that most of us take for granted while we’re cooking and cleaning. It’s what attracts the terrific, talented people we’ve welcomed into our Chef’n family. And it’s what compels us to tell everyone we meet about the innovation Chef’n products can bring to their kitchens.”

I was able to review the VeggiChop and I have to tell you I’m in love. This gadget is so fun and easy to use. It has a container, lid with a pull mechanism and the blade with a safety feature. Put your veggies or whatever you want to chop inside the container, put the lid on and pull. Yep you pull up a handle that turns the blades, causing them to chop up your veggies. The more pulls the more chopped. It’s that simple. You can have a course chop, a medium chop or a fine chop. You can even pull many times and have a puree. It’s a wonderful product. Gavyn even has a blast using it. This product is all done by hand and no electricity or batteries needed. The VeggiChop cut all my vegetables in no time at all for my beef stew. I didn’t have to worry about getting out a knife, or cutting board and there is virtually no cleanup. VeggiChop you are my favorite new kitchen gadget!
Chef’n has great products like the grinders that are sleek and stylish making anyone want to display salt and pepper and cool fun innovative gadgets. The salad spinner looks like a great product that is on my Christmas list. Chef’n would make any woman happy this holiday season. Have a look around. Unique, stylish and very attractive products for the kitchen!

Update 2/10/11 I have been using this for over a year, and it still chops, minces and grinds food unbelievably well. The blade is still extremely sharp. It is a MUST HAVE kitchen gadget. This vegetable food chopper ROCKS!
