Love your planet? How about hug your planet? This is exactly what we can do with a Hugg-A-Planet! I was super excited when contacted by PeaceToys to review their line of Hugg-A-Planet plush planets.
They sent us the Space Station: Earth, Moon and Mars set to review. Gavyn who just turned 7 this summer is all about space right now so these are incredibly educational and useful for him. He loves learning about the Earth as we live here. Gavyn finds it fun to point out places like New York since we live here, The North Pole because Santa is finishing up his toys this year, Japan and another favorite is Florida. That is where his grandparents live. From his own mouth about Earth, “I like this. It is very neat this is where we live, and there is so much water. I can’t believe people live all over the world.”

I love everything about these soft plush toys except the part that says Shell:100% cotton made in China. I wish the company could find someone here in the US to make the shell. Although, the stuffing is filled and finished and designed here in the USA. Earth has an opening that you can put the moon inside. It’s very neat and Gavyn has told me he will hide stuff from Zoe when he is older. Everytime he hear’s something on the tv he runs to get his Earth to find out where it is. Like the other day he heard something about Washington DC and the President. He rushed to have me help him find DC. I love how educational this is. Gavyn took his Earth and moon for share day at school and it was a huge hit. These would be perfect for schools, and daycares. I remember the globes in my school and I was always afraid I would break them if I touched them. I’m not talking middle and high school either lol. Elementary school we even had the old fashioned globes. The Classic Hugg-A-Planet Earth is one of the Best 25 Toys of the Past 25 Years. The Earth and Moon was also the WINNER! 2006 “TOY OF THE YEAR AWARD” Creative Child Magazine. So way to go on that!
Mars is very colorful red. This planet has over 400 places labeled although very tough to pronounce. Zoe enjoys this as it is smaller than Earth and I think she likes how bright it is. And when it’s not learning time the kids have fun throwing the planets back and forth. They are soft, lightweight and the kids use them as pillows also. 
You can purchase the Hugg-A-Planet Line along with America, a star, and even a Hugg-A-Planet with a rattle for the babies. I love these unique plush toys and think they would be a great addition to anyones family. Perfect gift for Christmas. It is a fun and great way for children to learn about the Earth and where we live.
