Welcome to my 2010 Holiday Picks! I hope you find some amazing products for people on your list this year. I have something for everyone and this week we’re kicking off Kids Week! Everything for kids. Enjoy the holiday gift guide.

Teacup Piggies

You all know my love for wooden toys. They are well made, last forever, durable, safe, and high quality. Kids are not gentle while playing, so cheap poor quality toys will not last, and who wants to spend money on something that will just end up in the garbage? Not I. That is why we choose wooden toys a majority of the time, and Pretend Play Kitchens has a great assortment. Pretend Play Kitchens sell the top brands of pretend kitchens, play food and accessories.

The KidKraft Baking Set has been the number one toy in our home for the past few weeks. I have 4 girls here after school and they love it. They bake up cookies and serve them to each other. Their imaginations get pretty creative. You’ll peek in and see them setting the table with plates, cups for drinking their tea while eating cookies, and wrapping the cookies in blankets to keep them fresh. The set comes with a Mixer with mixing bowl, rolling pin, cooking pan, 2 chocolate chip cookies, spatula and a measuring spoon in bright primary colors of red, blue and yellow.

The mixer really moves up and down inside the bowl, so they can whip up a batch of cookies in no time. They all ask me questions and want to learn about every item here. What is this used for, why a rolling pin and the list goes on and on.  It’s very educational when your child is ready to learn how to cook, because they’ll know what the utensils or appliance is used for. Unfortunately the kitchen Zoe had went curbside during Fall cleanup, as it was plastic junk. There are so many play kitchens out there, so Santa better get shopping soon. You can also get this in pretty pastel colors or bright colors. Gavyn even enjoys playing with his sister with this.   Besides the high quality of this set, there is no assembly required and no batteries! A toy that will last a lifetime! And I must say the cookies taste amazing.  She did a good job baking mom some chocolate chip cookies.

This is the perfect gift for little girls and boys this holiday season.  They would be thrilled to receive this as a gift.

Don’t forget your KidKraft kitchen to match this fun baking set as well. Kitchen play is a blast and I still play quite a bit. A considerable amount of time Zoe wants to help out in the real kitchen so it’s a valuable toy to have around the home. They have FREE shipping on all orders as well!
