Zoe has crazy hair. Well, that may be an understatement! One minute it’s sky high, the next minute it’s frizzy and then there are the times her curls show really well. Most of the time though her hair looks like the birds have built a nest in her hair.

Yes, this is really my darlings hair. This is the way it looks when she gets up in the morning, from naps, after playing, well, pretty much 99.5% of the time. We actually call her crazy hair, and she tells me she wants to leave her hair “messy” when we go out. My response everytime….ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I’ve tried many products in her hair to try and tame the craziness, but quickly stopped as I worried about the harsh chemicals “our” products contain. You know what I mean…the long ingredients names that are too long to type and you can’t even pronounce. I definitely do not want that in my toddler or school aged child’s hair. Heck, actually I’ve gone to natural hair styling products for the most part so why shouldn’t my children? I’ve looked all over retailers shelves as well for styling products for kids but always turn up empty handed. Kids need to style as well.

This is where Le Baby Hair Gel comes into place. Here is a little bit about how Le Baby all started:
“Tami Dimmerman, creator of Le Baby, searched for a product that would tame and style her daughter Chloe’s fly-away hair without aggravating her eczema or irritating her sensitive skin. She hoped to find a safe, gentle and effective gel without harsh chemicals or potentially harmful ingredients. Unwilling to settle for what was in the marketplace, Tami spent months experimenting with different all-natural formulas until, through animal-free testing, she found the perfect combination. “
I was sent a tube of Le Baby Hair Gel for review and here is what I thought about it. First off it’s perfect for babies, toddlers, children and all with sensitive skin. Now to the test on my crazy haired daughter. She does have natural beautiful curls but they are never noticeable. We applied a small amount of the gel after her bath one morning and waited for her hair to dry to see the results. Hmmm….well I was quite disappointed as it did leave her hair stiff, like I hair sprayed it.

Le Baby does claim that it “never leaves hair stiff or sticky”. I found this false when applying to wet hair. It didn’t look nice at all:( It stayed stiff, and looked wet when it should have been dry. This would be perfect for those spikes, mohawks and anything else that needs the wet look. However, I blow dried Zoe’s hair immediately after and her hair was shiny, beautiful, and looked extremely healthy. Her hair was actually very soft and manageable.

This was a great plus with Le Baby Hair Gel. I could comb through without any tangles, or her fussing. I also tried this on another day with her hair in a half pony.

From the photo you can see how great it left her hair. You can see her curls, it’s not frizzy and I love adding this to tame those flyway’s most small children get from their thin hair. It added a bit of volume to her hair which I think looks great.
Le Baby Hair Gel has some great benefits as well. It’s hypoallergenic, there are no harsh chemicals, parabens, sulfates and it’s not tested on animals. I love that this is fragrance free and for the most part it isn’t sticky. It does rinse out easily as well. I think this is a great product for moms who want to style their child’s hair. How about a little spike on your little prince? Too cute and I believe this would hold up very well for that. I would have tested and taken a photo of Gavyn but his hair is too short to do this.
Overall it’s a great product, and works well. I didn’t like the way it looked on wet hair so I would highly recommend applying to dry hair. That’s just the way it worked for me though. I only used a small amount, so I know I didn’t overdo the product. You can purchase Le Baby Hair Gel at www.lebabyinc.com and you can connect with Le Baby on facebook.

Okay Nichol, That can not be your beautiful little girls hair ever. LOL That is the funniest picture of crazy hair I have ever seen. Her hair is so beautiful I just can't even imagine it looking like that. I wonder if this product would work on my hair?
