I love being tagged but sometimes I forget to post, as my blog is quite hectic, but I do love playing along. Amy over at Keeping up with the Schultz Family tagged me with eight questions, thanks Amy! So my questions and my answers…
What was the last thing you ate?
Right now I’m eating a bowl of Kashi Go Lean Crunch, this cereal is amazing!
What is one of your best childhood memories?
The last Christmas our family was together(before my parents divorced) It was the most amazing Christmas ever. It wasn’t about the gifts, but we were happy, had a nice home, and there was no fighting. My brother and sister and I did a “goose pile” all day with my dad. That was always so fun. Just lots of great memories that day.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you were older?
A maternity ward nurse. I always loved being a mommy to my dolls and thought it would be so amazing to work with babies, I still would love to go to school to do this. When I was in All Children’s Hospital for so long when our son was sick, it just does something to you. You want to reach out and help all the babies anyway you can.
Do you paint your toenails in the winter?
Nope never, I give them a break from their prettiness
Do you watch any reality television? If so, what show is your favorite?
It’s the only thing I watch lol. I love American Idol, Biggest Loser and Dancing with the Stars. I was into Hells Kitchen for a while but don’t watch that anymore. Idol was my favorite, although I’m not sure how it’s going to be this year with my sexy Simon gone:( I never miss an episode of Biggest Loser and everyone knows not to bug me when it’s on.
What were some of the “trends” when you were a kid?
Hmmm…you’re making me think here. From what I can remember over sized jeans and baggy tshirts(but we tight rolled those jeans) Did you do this, yuck! Katie Holmes did this recently, why oh why Katie?? If you are reading please answer..haha. Flannel shirts(which have come back oh so cute) and acid/bleached jeans. We also wore our $3.00 shoes everywhere lol. Like Amy said banana clips were big and um ye big bangs, AquaNet was a fav of mine. Grunge was always big but I wasn’t a grunge girl. And NEON clothes….hmmm. I’m glad those days are over!
What is your favorite time of the year? Why?
I’m with Amy on this, I love the Spring. The snow melts, the flowers bloom, the trees turn green again, and the fresh smell is in the air!
Do you have any Hobbies
Yes, I do. Just with I had more time. I love to cook. I take a recipe and make it my own everytime. I don’t think I’ve ever followed to a tee. I hate baking but love baking with the kids. I’m a magazine junkie, love them. I also pretend I’m a decorator lol. Oh ye and blogging!
I now tag the following bloggers to answer the same 8 questions:
Anyone else that would like to play along I’d love you to!
Have a great day:)

Great answers! I used to watch Hells Kitchen but somehow I'm not into it anymore either:)
Have a great week!
I think you're a great decorator
hehe I picture you like the lady in the mini van watching TV, no honey don't buggy mommy it's mommy time …:)
What was wrong with your son when he got sick? Just curious.
I had one with a staph infection @ 7 months, and my other got meningitis @ 2 months. Not fun!
It was really popular to pinch roll our jeans, too! You always had to get them just tight enough too, right? Seriously, where is Katie Holmes' comment – that look is long gone!
Thanks for playing along with me. I am glad you had a nice memory with your family. That must have been hard on all of you. Yes we had some of the same trends for sure.. I do love Spring. Thanks again for playing along. Have a great day..
Amy tagged me too! I can't get mine out until next week but I love doing these with the questions. My toenails are always painted. I don't watch many reality TV, only a few. I usually watch the final 12 on Idol. It will be different with Simon gone and I enjoyed Ellen.
I totally remember tight rolled jeans! They were so not as cool as we thought they were:) I always keep my toes painted…in south MS it might just be warm enough for flip flops in December!
Great answers. The flannel shirts are so much cuter now because there is a style to it's cut. Before we wore those huge flannel shirts. I wonder what else will come back?
We did the baggy jeans too, but paired them with babydoll tees. I can't believe how awful we looked!
