Last weekend we took the kids for a fun day in Pumpkinville. Pumpkinville sits on 200 acers of farmland, and it’s a great family day. Enjoy the photos!
Arriving in Pumpkinville
Family photo on the giant pumpkin
How tall this Fall. My son is only 8 and almost 5 foot tall:*( Yes I’m in tears!
Storyland is filled with tons of wood cutouts. The kids had a blast. There are tons more, but I decided to just do a few in this post. There was also a fun graveyard, a spooky shed(Zoe screamed horribly) and fun ghosts.
Another family photo. We do not get many of these, so I have to cherish each and everyone.
We didn’t pick up any pumpkins because they were outrageously priced. We spent money on too many other activities. Like Gavyn and Dad shooting corn!
Gavyn had a blast shooting corn out in the field. He was laughing hysterically. They went extremely far!
Off to the pumpkin patch we went for some running around, and of course goofing off.
We couldn’t leave without checking out the petting zoo, and the homemade cow train!
This is just a very small photo collage of what we did. The day was filled with fun for the entire family. My boring kids refused to go in the corn maze, which looked like a great time. Gavyn just kept telling me we’ll get lost lol. They were giving helicopter rides over the farm which we didn’t do. It was $35/person, way out of our budget. We headed home with fresh apple cider and apples, and fresh baked pumpkin muffins, donuts, and maple cotton candy(good if you like syrup) They had fresh homemade pumpkin icecream as well, but it was chilly so we didn’t get any. They do have an antique cider mill there which makes the cider. It’s wonderful. If you are ever near Western NY in the Fall this is the place to bring the kiddos. I wish the pumpkins weren’t so expensive, but that’s OK. I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween weekend!
