We are a huge music family. I feel music really helps with all sorts of moods. If we are down and out, we turn on some upbeat music, when we want to dance, we turn on our dance songs, and so on. Music is everywhere you go. In the car, restaurants, malls, when you’re on hold on the phone, and on TV. Zoe has been a fan of music since she was tiny, 6 months old or so. I truly believe it’s because I rocked her to sleep while humming a song. She has always swayed back and forth to it, and loves to dance. I have found the perfect MP3 for kids, the Sweetpea3 by Sweetpea Toys.
This MP3 player is larger for toddlers to hold easily, and has a round handle for their hands. There are many features I love on this. To get to the menu you have to hold down the back and forward keys, toddlers really can’t figure this out, so they can’t change the volume, or playlists withoout our help. They can change the song though, with just a push of the forward or back button. They can also pause a song. This also comes preloaded with songs from award winning artist Susie Tallman & Friends and Jim Weiss, award winning storyteller. Songs and stories our kids love, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Alphabet song, No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and many more. There are also audible tracks where it reads a story to your child. This handy dandy MP3 player also has 2GB of storage space, which can hold up to 700 songs! Zoe loves her Yo Gabba Gabba music so I put some of her favorite songs into the folders, which you just drag and drop. Was simple. Check out Zoe singing and me messing up my blog name!
Watch out American Idol, Zoe is your next idol!
The MP3 player comes in two colors, purple or blue, and kids just love it. Zoe brings it everywhere with her and walks around all day with it. You will find her singing, dancing and having a great time with it. She definitely appreciates music, which make her dad and I very happy.
This has been our lifesaver this week. She has been very sick(post coming as soon as I hear more)this past week, and in the doctors most of the week. She brought this along to listen in the office, and I feel it made her a bit more at ease. I think the SweetPea3 MP3 player is the perfect player for kids. Parents control which songs go on it, and the volume. Older children will be able to change playlists if you show them how. This is a perfect kid friendly device, a perfect first MP3 Player, and was the toy of the year in 2009
