Umi Children’s Fall Shoes Review & Giveaway

The last few weeks Zoe has been more than excited to be starting preschool this Fall.  Almost daily I hear “when does school start, when will we go shopping, will I get new shoes and clothes, I wonder if I’ll make friends”.  The list continues.  I have a feeling she is not going to accept heading to a strange school and strange people the first few days, but once she inspects the toys, games, puzzles, craft areas and everything else a preschool room entails, she is going to accept going.   Back-to-school shopping may not be a favorite of many, but I actually enjoy it.  I love checking out the new fashions for kids, back to school shoes, backpacks and everything else.  This Fall Umi Shoes has shoe shopping covered for the kids with their adorable girl and boy shoes.  UMI is the best shoe company providing comfort, style and trust, by handcrafting each shoe.

We have had the pleasure of reviewing UMI Shoes this past spring, and are thrilled to review a pair from their new arrivals section for the Fall.   With Zoe being  an entertainer and wanting to dance and sing everywhere she goes, we decided to choose a pair of the Tulanne in cocoa color.  I knew the day they arrived Zoe would jump for joy, and mainly because of the ruched elastic strap, which allows her feet to stay put without slipping out.  Since she is four and always on the move, this is a must.   The textured leather on the shoe gives it character.  The shoe is ballet style which Zoe adores.  She tried dancing last year but decided she wasn’t ready.  With these shoes she tells me “mommy I feel like I am in ballet again, just at home”.  She will also tell you how comfortable they are.  They are a little big on her so she will have much time with them.  We printed out the Umi size chart to find the perfect fit which is very helpful.  I do believe their shoes run bigger than others, so take this into consideration when shopping.  I do highly recommend printing the chart as well.  These shoes are adorable paired with a pair of jeans, skirt or dress, even her leggings and capris. As a mom I appreciate that Umi tests each shoe for safety and durability and meets strict guidelines for child-safe materials and they use only non-toxic drum-dyed leathers and other environmentally friendly components. The Umi shoes for kids arrive protected in recycled packaging.
