Tablets for kids are going to be a hot Christmas item this year, so you are going to want to pick them up as soon as they hit shelves. The VTech InnoTab is now available at retail stores and toy stores nationwide including Amazon.  They retail for $79.99, that is $20 cheaper than it’s competitor the Leapfrog LeapPad Explorer.

So what is the InnoTab? This is an educational learning app tablet that allows children to read, play educational games and acticvities and has a large collection of apps. When you purchase the InnoTab it comes fully loaded with a full suite of applications including an interactive, animated e-book, motion games, creative activities, MP3 music player, photo viewer, video player, alarm clock, calculator, calendar and an address book. But there are downloadable e-books, games and more than 100 downloads will be available by the end of the year.
