It is no secret that I love a good deal, so this holiday shopping season I have already started searching for the best online shopping deals; one-day-only sales, buy one get one half off deals, great percentage off and free shipping coupons on toys, apparel and shoes and hitting the sale tabs. The 2012 holiday shopping season is here (oh yes it is), and I have made a vow to shop strictly online this year. The last two years have drove me bonkers with Black Friday shopping. It amazes me how humans get so violent and insane over a specific toy, electronic item or technology gadgets.
Last year, when heading to a department store to get a deal on a toy for my little girl, a woman actually shoved me so hard I fell into an end cap display. People were looking at me like I was the lunatic while I was mortified. I told my husband never again. Shopping online is much more convenient as I don’t have to deal with standing in long lines for hours, barter with the people who aren’t morning risers that are in the shops just to be cruel or deal with items that are sold out that I went specifically for.
If you are like me and want to try exclusive online holiday shopping to fulfill your holiday shopping lists hassle free this year, be sure you check the deals before Black Friday or Cyber Monday arrive. Both days have amazingly hot deals you do not want to miss. Also, do not wait. Just like shopping in-stores, you want to be on the computer earlier before items sell out, and trust me they do. Don’t forget about your security. Although, many shop at top retailers, there are some that have fab deals that aren’t so common, just check for the “https” and lock icon in your browser bar. Also, I like to put all Christmas purchases on a credit card as debit cards are funds directly from my checking account. Oh and one last tip, comparison shop and look for additional savings for percentage off coupon codes and free shipping. One place to do that is RetailMeNot.
But don’t wait until the holidays because OctoNovemCember™ shopping season with the Pumpkin-Headed Turkey Claus is happening right now with hot online one-day only sales available every day. I know you’re asking who the Pumpkin-Headed Turkey Claus is…well he’s the king of OctoNovemCember™, dedicated to making sure we can all save as much as possible on holiday gifts this year. Check it out.

I could certainly use a $1000 shopping spree. I will have to check this out. Thanks for sharing.
That video is ridiculous! LOL It’s worth sharing for $1000 though!
That turkey – santa gives me the creeps! lol
Someone knocked you over in the store and they looked at YOU like a lunatic? Sheesh!! I can’t say I’m much on Black Friday brick and mortar shopping either, like you I usually look at the online deals and I do check RetailMeNot for coupons anytime I purchase online.
Oh, and I entered the contest too! Who couldn’t use 1k? Thanks for the tip!
I’m all about online shopping!! I love retailmenot, I’ve used them for years now to find coupon codes!
I hate shopping too close to the holidays exactly for the scene you described. I can’t believe someone pushed you into the endcap. I’m sorry that happened and glad you weren’t hurt. I can’t believe the holiday shopping season is here already but that mascot is hilarious and a good way to keep the light-hearted nature of the holidays. I’ll be doing a lot of shopping online this year and will be sure to check Retail Me Not before doing so.
Shopping online is so much easier these days! I try to do a lot of my shopping through online stores but there is still something fun about shopping in an actual show.
Oh how I would love a shopping spree for new clothes!
i love black friday shopping but haven’t ever been pushed. yikes.
that turkey/santa dude is creepy!
LOL, oh my!! But for $1000 shopping spree? okay!!
