Gavyn has had several sets from Playmobil so was eager to check out the Dark Rangers`Speed Glider from the Future Planet themed toys. If you aren’t familiar with Playmobil, sets can start small and you can add on to them with additional sets to grow with your child, or to make their sets large.
The Dark Rangers` Speed Glider set was effortless for Gavyn (10) to assemble as the main glider base was what he needed to add to.
To the base you add the batteries, and additional pieces building a fully functional ship for kids to take off in the air. This set takes batteries (not included) for the red and green blinking lights on the ship and LED cockpit display. The light crystals are activated by placing into the white charger for about 10 minutes.
It also comes with two Future Planet characters with armor and weapons. The ship is made well with two areas to sit in, a lifting top and stands on the bottom for for support. The cockpit poses as a storage unit for pieces when not in use.
Have kids who enjoy pretend-play and being creative? This set is ideal for boy’s age 7-12 but don’t worry if you don’t have princes as Playmobil has girl sets such as the dolls house and magic castle even sets for our toddlers in the 1.2.3 series.
