Ahhh girls! They love fashion and to accessorize. Whether it is the new sparkly top all the girls have, or the coolest boots for winter, or the hottest new hair accessory, they want them. I’m a girl and I’m still that way, I’ve just learned to shop sales before breaking my budget. Zoe is at the age where she’ll see something on TV she absolutely loves and then wants it. Not too long ago she was sporting my charm bracelet telling me how “cute” the charms were. Then fun colorful linkable charms from SassaB arrived and she was excited because these charms were more than charms.
How SassaB came about:
Tracy’s (owner and founder of SassaB) daughter Brooke, was looking for something to wear in her hair for picture day at school. She was tired of the same old bows, barrettes and pony tail holders she had in her drawer. Knowing how much Brooke loves charms, she went into her room, picked out a cute charm from her own bracelet, slid it on a bobby pin and put it in her hair. She looked in the mirror and very excitedly said, “I love it! I’m going to wear it to school and start a trend and trade them with my friends!” As soon as she heard the words, “start a trend”,she saw an opportunity to create a fashionable, fun hair accessory and immediately went to work.
SassaB linkable charms come in a variety of styles that girls can attach to their hair, backpacks, shoes, or wear as jewelry! The charms have a claw clasp on them with a link on the other end. They can be worn alone or attached together to create a longer accent piece such as a headband, belt or dangled on a hair tie or pin for an unique embellishment. This is what is neat about them because the more you add the longer the accessory becomes.
Zoe has been wearing these continuously and finding new places to wear them and place them. Currently they are being used as Zoe’s bookmark in a small chapter book we have been reading. We love that the possibilities are endless with SassaB charms.
There are single charms you can purchase for $4.99 each or a two pack which includes 2 linkable charms, 1 hair tie with link and 1 bobby pin with link to start your collection for $17.98. Girls can collect all of them with their friends and start a trend of trading. There are many styles so girls can purchase specific ones that express their own individual styles.
Luckily, SassaB sent Zoe a pack that included an adorable panda bear and a snake (but he’s cute) and a pack with a purple peace sign and rainbow. Chic girly charms! I would love to see more charm designs in the future. Zoe is only 5 but wants an ice cream cone, a kitty and a Christmas tree for the holidays! These would make an affordable stocking stuffer gift this holiday season!
