Do you have a child that enjoys watching football at home on the television or even plays football? If so TeenyMates are the perfect stocking stuffer gift for every NFL fan. Last year we had the opportunity to review Lil’ Teammates from Party Animal Toys. These are three inch vinyl collector licensed sports figures that have been favored in our home. I was excited to see the sports guys scaled down with their newest product TeenyMates. The collectible pocket-sized figures from favorite NFL sports teams are sure to be a hit. These little guys may be petite in size but fun for kids and adults.
TeenyMates mini football figures are so tiny, they arrive in packs just like sports cards with puzzle pieces to create a two-sided puzzle. One side features a mini-poster of the TeenyMates quarterbacks, while the other side is a football field to play a game on the board or to display on.
When our 1 inch tall official licensed NFL quarterback figures arrived I was astonished at the attention to detail. For being so little everything from their facial expressions, helmet detail and the paint colors are exceptional.
These are going to be the next hot thing for NFL fans, as each foil pack contains 2 random quarterbacks and 2 puzzle pieces. There are also 3 hard to find rare figures that kids are going to want to get their hands on as they are a throwback quarterback, gold quarterback and a glow-in-the-dark quarterback.
Gavyn was happy to see a small hole on the bottom as they fit on several mechanical pencils and pens he uses at school.
There are a few things to note. Just like trading cards you can’t see what is in the pack, so it is secret to what guys you’ll receive. This is why they’ll be great for trading with friends because you may get multiple guys. Also, they all have the same pose. I’d love to see different poses on the quarterbacks plus some additional players; running backs, wide receivers, maybe even player in punt mode!
We love the TeenyMates and have already purchased a few more for Gavyn. He has shown his friends who are eager to receive them as well.
