We are in the height of the holiday season, with less than 2 weeks of shopping left. With such a short time before Christmas arrives, many are still scrambling for last minute gifts for everyone on their lists. I can guarantee many have a child or two that still need a gift for the holidays. Choosing appropriate gifts for children can be especially challenging when everything seems to be about technology. Boys are tricky individuals. They like action figures, all-things sports, weird stuff and video games. Children need to follow instructions, can work together encouraging communication skills not to mention the confidence that is gained once the specific project is built. If you purchase sets for the younger crowd, you’ll be pleased at the benefits including, hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, basic skills such as colors, math and shapes.
Buying blocks for the kids on your holiday list or for birthdays is an educational choice that children will adore for years to come. Just think, buying their first set may be the beginning of a fabulous new hobby! Keep in mind there are numerous sets for all age levels and skills and interests of the child. Once their LEGO creation is built, they’ll smile from ear-to-ear and go onto their next project creating something from their own imagination!
