Ahh potty training. A definite stressful time for parents, a big step for children and something that requires much patience. Potty training my first born (now 10) was trying, Zoe (now 5) was simple. All it took for her was a potty chart, some bribery with M&Ms and lots of hugs & kisses. Gavyn was another story and wanted nothing to do with the large bowl of water that could possibly swallow his bottom. The first time he went, he refused to flush, running out of the bathroom as quick as possible. Zoe however, was ecstatic, all smiles and thrilled with her success!

I had the complete opposite experience! My son was so easy to potty train but my daughter took forever, she just didn’t want to take the time out from playing and would never go when she was supposed to! Eventually of course she was trained but it was such an ordeal!
I’m so glad I’m done with potty training LOL!
This just reminded me how happy I am that both of my boys can wipe their own butts now
