Dark under-eye circle, bags, skin imperfections and dry skin are beauty challenges I have dealt with since becoming a mom. I remember with both pregnancies my skin broke out, something I never had to combat before in my life. I had to start some type of face cleansing routine to try to keep it under control, or it would get worse. Now that both of my kids are a bit older, my skin has finally calmed down to being pretty much clear again. Sure, I get the occasional pimple but nothing crazy. You could say I like to try new beauty products for my face since I want this part that is seen by everyone as clear as possible. Right now I’m trying to combat these dreadful dark eyes I have. So you can bet when I hear of a 4-in-1 makeup product that claims to be the “magic skin beautifier” that primes, perfects, hydrates and corrects I am absolutely going to try it.
L’Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
L’Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream arrives in a small 1.0 FL. OZ tube and is available in four color shades to suit all face colors. I chose medium since I have olive tones in my skin.
Clean face before applying
I shook the tube, squeezed and administered to my under-eye area. I was shocked that the liquid is white in color, not tan like most concealers and foundations we are accustomed to. It also had some grayish/brown grainy looking things in the liquid, so was skeptical this would be grainy.
After applying, it was time to blend in. I loved how this lightweight formula covered up most of my imperfections, did a great job on my under-eye circles and left no makeup smudge on my face. It does turn a lighter brown color once distributed, you’ll even notice your finger or sponge slightly tinted after applying but there was no graininess, yay! Those grayish/brown grainy things I just talked about were indeed the beautifying beads, to match your color once applied. I felt the BB Cream covered well for my skin and looked much better than other concealers I have used. There was no cake looking skin after applying, it’s a lightweight formula, blends well and keeps skin looking natural.
After applying no other makeup is on
I’ve been using the BB Cream almost daily (I wear makeup about 5 days a week) and have noticed some difference in smoother skin when applying. I still have been applying my SPF moisturizer before applying makeup, so I can’t really comment on the moisturizing effects this offers, but this is infused with Panthenol, Vitamin E and Glycerin for hydration. I would feel more inclined to wear alone without my moisturizer if it included an SPF, however this does not.

Once I apply all my makeup using only a bit of powder after the BB Cream I love the natural look I have. It is not greasy, and dries like powder, giving you almost flawless looking skin. The price is also fair for a 4-in-1 product at only $10.95. I will definitely continue to purchase as it has worked well for my skin tone and type.
