In 2011 I introduced you to Fairy Tales Hair Care and their Rosemary Repel products that prevent head lice and the Curly Q products, natural curl making styling products. Since reviewing the Rosemary Repel products we have been using them daily, where I even recommend to every person I know. Why? Because in my opinion they work! My daughter’s school and kindergarten class has had numerous lice outbreaks, with Zoe never getting lice. That to me means they do prevent head lice. They are successful products especially the Rosemary Repel Leave-in Spray which is what I spray in Zoe’s hair before school. What more is Fairy Tales Hair Care products are safe to use daily, are all-natural and organic. This is important to me as a parent because I do not want my kids to use chemicals, which many hair products for kids contain. Not Fairy Tales Hair Care. So when Fairy Tales reached out about their no more knots detangling products; Super-Charge Detangling shampoo, Detangling Conditioner and Energizing Leave-in Conditioner I knew I wanted to try them.
Super-Charge Detangling Shampoo: This product is absolutely amazing. Zoe’s hair is still baby fine, but what is left of her natural curls can be a challenge to comb through. This shampoo is infused with delicious smelling jojoba and aloe with vitamins B and E. A tiny drop is all that is needed to clean hair. It leaves hair extremely soft, manageable and smelling great. I had no issues combing through Zoe’s hair after using the shampoo alone. I do recommend for excessive tangles, to comb through after washing before rinsing. You’ll see this is most effective to remove those tangles. Use with the detangling conditioner for superior results.
Detangling Conditioner: This isn’t my first time with this product either. I always head to my salon to pick up a bottle of this when we run out as it works. I only use on Zoe’s hair twice a week to give her hair the extra softness it needs. Again, only a dab is needed and cleans without feeling greasy. This conditioner has extracts of rosemary, aloe vera, cherry bark and chamomile, leaving a pleasant scent in the hair after use. If your child has tangled hair, definitely give the detangling conditioner a try. Tangles are gone in an instant. We like to leave on for about 2 minutes for additional silkiness!
Energizing Leave-in Conditioner: Shh…don’t tell anyone but I like this for myself just on the ends of my hair. It moisturizes hair, gives hair subtle shine and improves manageability. The energizing leave-in conditioner also smells fab due to the passion flower, cherry bark and rosemary. I’m keeping this for summertime swimming as we own a pool. I always worry about chlorine build-up in both kids hair, and this product can be used before and after swimming to help eliminate flaky scalp and chlorine. The conditioner can be used on wet or dry hair. Because it is a leave-in conditioner there is no need to rinse, beneficial for younger children who don’t enjoy rinsing several times. It is highly concentrated so again, only a tiny bit is needed. This product would be great for children with stubborn curls.
