Dressing up is an uncommon event in our home, unless it is Zoe playing pretend dress-up. Although, I like my kids dressed to impressed, they aren’t too fond of it now that they are able to dress themselves. They do know however that for birthdays, holidays, family photos or picture taking for school and special dinners it is a must. With Easter knocking at our doorstep, I’ve placed orders for the kids Easter apparel, which hasn’t arrived quite yet, so they can look their very best on Easter Sunday. Our family & friends will be spending the day with us, so to have my kids in handsome and cute clothing also trendy footwear makes me feel proud, on a day that is so important to my religion, not for hidden Easter baskets filled with goodies and chocolate bunnies.
While we anticipate the arrival of Gavyn’s patterned poplin shirt and cargo pants, he’ll have stylish footwear to make his outfit complete. Gavyn received a pair of Florsheim Kearny Jr in Navy, to complement his overall looks this Easter.
When they arrived I asked Gavyn to go get spiffed up with his new Florsheim dress shoes and an outfit that would match the shoes. The Florsheim Kearny Jr are a high quality, fashionable boy’s oxford shoe, which have a lace closure and are great for casual or formal occasions. This style of dress shoe looks fantastic with pants of any style, jeans, even shorts for school. They feature navy blue suede uppers that are soft to the touch. Gavyn wore them around the entire day they arrived and told me they are very comfortable, and fit him well. He says they make his feet look good, as his mom I must agree. This is our second pair of Florsheim shoes and it won’t be our last. The Getaway Bike Toe Slip on Junior Shoe we have still looks superb after lots of mileage from a 10 year old. Gavyn says both pairs are fab, but prefers the slip on style better, as he doesn’t have to fuss with ties.
