Oliver’s Labels provided complimentary labels for our review, all opinions 100% my own
In 2006 when I enrolled Gavyn in preschool I began acting like this irrational mom as it was that time.
That time where my first born, my baby, and the one I have sheltered since birth was going off to school.
What was I going to do? Sit at home and mope? Nap? Clean? Go get pampered?
I wasn’t sure, but knew I wasn’t pleased about the idea of him going to school. I was terrified for him.
Instead, I had to act content, be thrilled he was going to school where educators (strangers to a four year old) would lookout for my child 2.5 hours per day and let him know school was going to be exciting. He would learn, play, create fun crafts and meet new friends.
We did what all families do to prepare him. We went school shopping, getting all the essentials he would need for his new venture in life.
But one school item many may not think about are personalized school name labels. I have used them every single year since Gavyn entered preschool and I can tell you they have been lifesavers on many occasions.
In first grade, Gavyn left his coat on a bus during a school field trip. Instead of it disappearing to the lost and found at school, it made its way back to Gavyn’s classroom because it had a quality sticker on the tag showing it belonged to him.
Also, in first grade, he left his lunch bag in the cafeteria, again it made its way back to the classroom.
Because of this, we never had to spend money on items we had already had as our labels saved the day.
I have ordered labels for both of my children from Oliver’s Labels. Oliver’s Labels has the ideal back-to-school labels for all your school labeling needs. Their practical school package contains a large assortment of different size labels to label clothing, outerwear, school supplies, backpacks, lunch boxes, shoes and more.
There are 95 total labels and tags that you can customize by choosing a specific design which may be the same for all labels or you can choose a different design for each label. There are over 40 trendy designs ranging in cute for girls (we chose birds), appealing for little ones, funky for boys, to vibrant colors for all, labels for tweens/teens and the older crowd, there are even allergy labels!
Once you choose your specified design, then it is time to personalize with a name. You can add first and last name and optional text such as an address. *Note we have added the last name to ours, due to safety I have blurred and added smiley faces over our last name.
You can also add Found-it; the free system which is comparable to an online lost and found. If you choose to have this option (remember it is free to add) your labels will have a unique code which will be used to track in the event of belongings ever being misplaced. If someone were to find the item, they will go to oliverslabels.com/found, enter the 9 digit Found-it code and an email will be sent to you saying your item has been found. Don’t worry, your personal information will not be shared with the finder, only Oliver’s Labels has this information. I highly recommend choosing the Found-it option as items can be left on school field trips, family trips, and more.
Oliver’s Labels are high quality labels that stick to everything and easy to use; no ironing needed! Don’t just think about clothing and backpacks though, think water bottles, pencil boxes, gym clothes, every pair of footwear your child wears, books and even their phones. Labels are made from high-performance, waterproof, and scuff-proof materials that have been tested to be durable in a huge range of environments. Trust me they stay stuck even after washing by hand or in the dishwasher. Even with all the mileage kids do walking/running and playing in the gym, even wash after wash in the washer and dryer. Oliver’s Labels printing is GUARANTEED to never rub off!
