If you’re looking for an easier way to approach potty training with your little one, give BottomZz Up a try!
Our youngest is 17 months old and I have been attempting to get him use to the potty. I received a nice potty training kit from BottomZz Up for this review and am happy with the products! He has never worn underwear but once before and it was more of a try it on and see how he does.
About three days ago, I got the chart out that was provided as well as the stickers to go with it, and showed it to him and said that he can be a big boy like his brother if he wants to go in the potty and wear big boy pants. I’ve had a time trying to get him to sit still, let alone getting him to sit still on the potty seat that sits directly on the toilet. But, the other day he actually sat down for about ten minutes while I was reading a book to him, and he went!! I was so thrilled, because he wasn’t yet 17 months and yet understood the concept which is great.
I gave him a sticker and he helped me to put it on the day Wednesday. I have not started full time potty training yet, but will be soon. I would like him to be potty trained by the time I have our fourth who is due April 3, or soon after. I put the insert inside of the BottomZz Up underwear which is awesome for protecting against the wetness getting onto the clothes or carpet.
These underwear are of course to help your little one learn and know when he or she is wet, and allows them to feel the discomfort of being wet while also protecting their clothing and bedding, so they know that they should go in the potty. All you need to do is toss the insert into the trash and the BottomZz Up into the wash, and just put a new insert in and a new pair of BottomZz Up on.
Within a few weeks of using BottomZz Up, your little one should know when it’s time to go potty and accidents should become less and less. I highly recommend these products, whether you are just starting potty training or are almost done. These products I wish I had when we were potty training our older kids several years ago.
You can grab your own BottomZz Up for your child who is of potty training age.
