I’m a pretty tough mom who wants my children to do well in school and to take it serious. Gavyn is now in fourth grade and has homework every single night, even if he doesn’t have any homework from school. You see Gavyn has difficulty handwriting and always has. He is in a rush with everything and thinks it is best if you finish first. I try to explain he needs to slow down and take his time, however he still hurries, which causes him to make many mistakes as well as letters and numbers which are inaccurate. Since he was in preschool I have bought lined paper for him to practice writing at home. Whether I have him write the alphabet several times, or sentences which include his spelling words, he writes for 20 minutes nightly. While this has helped him we now have another problem; he is learning cursive. He doesn’t seem to like this fancier writing and tells me it is difficult so we practice one letter every night. He’ll get the hang of it. Now that Zoe is in preschool she is joining in on the writing action nightly. While I purchase paper at The Dollar Tree because it is only a buck it is not the best quality of paper. It rips easily if my children have to erase because it is so thin. But like I said it is affordable so that is what I usually purchase. However, Smilegram Paper is here to help with unique and fun stationery for children.
Founder Carey says:
She knew that children’s stationery should be colorful, fun and unique. My daughter, who loves to draw and has a fine appreciation for a hand written note was definitely the inspiration for creating fun stationery. What was originally a spark of an idea became reality to design smilegram paper. With just a crayon and some paper, she created the most amazing, creative line of personalized children’s stationery. I combined my daughter’s one-of-a-kind artwork with high quality, recycled materials and created a product that is fun for kids and also works to teach them the importance of a handwritten note.
Stationery For Children
We were sent a few products to review and I immediately could tell the quality of this stationery for children was superior, not thin and would not easily rip if the kids needed to erase a mistake. Not to mention the adorable artwork created on the paper. Zoe received the personalized cupcake stationery which is adorned with colorful and definitely fun cupcakes on the tablet. Each paper has the artwork and also arrives with envelopes. While she loves to practice writing on these tablets which are made from partially recycled materials and is lined with the dots, I am also using them. They are wonderful for writing notes to teachers! The stationery is thick as it 70lb stock paper and each tablet contains 12 sheets which are 7×10 in size. Gavyn received the Fun Jumpin Froggies writing tablet and I must say they are darling. With frogs on lily pads, jumping into the water they are too cute. While Gavyn is a little old for “froggie paper” Zoe likes this design as well. This is the type of writing tablets we practice on so it has had a lot of use. Again this children’s writing paper is high quality, contains 15 sheets and is thick.
Personalized Kids Stationery
Not only is this fun and super cute stationery for children, you can also add a personalization. Personalized kids stationery would be a wonderful gift for children and unique. There are several fonts to choose from to make it more unique for children. And at only $2.00 extra there is no reason not to add their name to the stationery. With many designs for boys and girls from race cars, chicks, butterflies, and sports kids will be smitten with the handmade artwork, as will parents and may actually enjoy writing on these fun tablets.Smilegram Paper is cheerful paper, and has appealing designs. While you can find paper that is much more affordable you will not find the super cute handmade designs which are on the paper. There are also gift sets that can be purchased. This stationery is kid friendly, fun and hopefully will make your children want to write.
