Soon it will be Valentines Day which also means time for the classroom parties! I don’t know about you, but I must admit that classroom parties are always stressful for me!
I want to give my kids something fun to pass out, but I want their card box to be cute but not over the top. Once that is done, then it’s time to think about the classroom treat!
The treat is a whole other concern! Some of the kids have allergies that you want to be mindful over. You also need to think about the ride home from school! The treats and Valentines we send must withstand that car ride home! And if the kids ride the bus, well, anything that can survive that ride home is truly amazing! LOL! It is mind-blowing how things get trashed on that bus ride home! But that is another story for another time!
When I finally start to plan out the classroom treat, I want something that can easily be transported. I want something that is made with REAL fruit, is gluten free in case any of the kids are dealing with that, and something with no preservatives! Yes, I know I can make a treat at home, but due to allergy concerns, I would always rather pass out something that is store bought. That way the parents know what ingredients are in the treat and will know if their kids can have it or not.
That is why we are passing out Welch’s Valentine’s Day Fruit Snacks to my youngest child’s classroom. These delicious fruit snacks feature everything that I want in a treat:
- Welch’s Valentine’s Day Fruit Snacks feature a holiday themed box/pouch, and heart-shaped Emoji fruit snack pieces
- Each pouch features a “To/ From” signable front panel, making it perfect for classroom exchanges and seasonal celebrations
- Made with REAL fruit
- Fruit is their First Ingredient!
- No preservatives!
We have been putting her card/treat box together as well. One thing I learned long ago is that no matter how much money we put into the decorative box, we won’t use it after Valentine’s. Let’s be honest, how many times have we thrown the boxes away along with all of the money that went into the box!
This year we are doing something a little simpler. A Heart box! This box is simple yet cute! We are covering the box with hearts and I will be adding the gems with hot glue the day before the party.
No, it’s not the $10 plus boxes that I have been seeing around, however, this is something she gets to decorate and it’s cute, sparkly, and full of glitter! She will have more fun at her party then she will be worrying what her box looks like.
This year, instead of stressing out about what treat on Pinterest to make for the classroom, pick up this cute box of Welch’s Fruit Snacks! Save the stress for the end of the year gifts instead! LOL!
